Matching snare puts beats front and centre
At the centre of the Breakbeats setup is its matching 14x5" wood snare. Its full 14-inch diameter gives you a familiar playing area while the five-inch depth keeps the shell relatively compact. Tonally, it contributes focused midrange that works alongside the punch of the bass drum and the response of the toms. That makes it ready for building grooves across rehearsals, gigs, and street performances. Because the snare matches the rest of the shell pack, you also get a consistent four-piece configuration developed together rather than having to find a separate snare for your compact setup.
Carefully cut edges support consistent head seating
Each Breakbeats drum features a bearing edge cut to 45 degrees, positioned within 1/16" of the shell's outside edge. The sharp edge is then hand-sanded to create a smooth, even, and flat surface. This careful finishing helps your drumheads seat properly against the shells, giving you a solid foundation when setting up and tuning the kit. It's a small construction detail, but an important one when you want your drums responding consistently.
