The specifications of the model include a fast, flat and thin Maple and Walnut 5-piece Super Wizard neck, providing a thin and fast yet strong and sturdy surface, ready to satisfy the most demanding of lightning-fast shredders. The high-performance Prestige 24-fret neck, unlimited tonal possibilities from Hot Grinder and Short Tracer pickups and revolutionary ZR2 bridge makes the S5470F an axe with trem effects beyond anything you've experienced before.
Equipped with a ZR2 tremolo with Zero Resistance technology, Ibanez have improved the hardware to provide greater tuning stability by replacing standard knife-edge pivots with a ball-bearing based pivot joint.
The S Prestige features the fearsome combination of Hot Grinder pickups in the bridge and neck positions and a Short Tracer 2 pickup in the middle for unlimited tonal choice.
