A SlimTaper 60s C neck sits just right in the hand, paired with a 12" Indian rosewood board and 22 authentic medium-jumbo frets for smooth bends and clean intonation. The long-tenon, hide-glue neck joint adds that connected, resonant response, while the 24.75" scale keeps things lively under the fingers. Semi-hollow sustain and control

The ES recipe is all about balance: airy resonance from a 3-ply maple/poplar body, anchored by a solid maple centre block for focus and feedback control. You get that singing sustain on held chords, a quick, percussive attack for rhythm chops, and the kind of note separation that stays tidy in a dense mix. No weight relief tricks here, just the classic construction that has made the 335 a studio and stage staple for generations

Open, expressive electronics

Custombucker Alnico 3 pickups serve up clear, vintage-leaning tones with a sweet top end and articulate mids. Roll back the volumes for glassy cleans; push an amp and it barks with conviction... and all while keeping the low end tight. The hand-wired loom with CTS 500K audio taper pots and paper-in-oil capacitors delivers a smooth sweep and musical interaction between the controls. Switchcraft selector and jack keep the signal solid from rehearsal room to headline set

Murphy Lab finish and pro hardware

Ultra Light Aged nitrocellulose gives a subtle, played-in look and an instantly comfortable feel, with lightly aged nickel hardware to match. An ABR-1 bridge and lightweight aluminium stop bar maximise resonance and tuning stability, while Kluson single-line, double-ring tuners offer quick, accurate changes. Black top-hat knobs, wide-bevel guard and period-correct details complete the vibe. Supplied in a Custom Shop hardshell case with a Certificate of Authenticity, it’s ready for serious work from day one
