The Masquerader is a modern reinvention of the iconic British guitar from the 1970s. With a solid mahogany body and hand burnished solid rosewood neck and fingerboard, this guitar oozes quality and style. And with the beautiful colour and immaculate high-gloss sheen finish, a glimpse into the Shergold's tonal core with the grain of the mahogany body visible. Thanks to the PJE designed Shergold Custom T bridge and compensated black Tusq nut, you'll be playing all night long due to its smooth and comfortable feel.
A well-crafted electric guitar designed for players who prioritize playability. Its sleek contours and comfortable body shape make it easy to hold and play for extended periods, while its set-neck construction provides excellent sustain and resonance. The SM01 features a 25.5" scale length and medium jumbo frets for easy playability, allowing for smooth transitions up and down the neck. Powerful pickup configuration
A duo of Seymour Duncan pickups are equipped on the Masquerader. Its Alnico 2 magnets and special winding process provide plenty of sustain, while its adjustable pole pieces ensure you can dial in the perfect tone. The TB4 that is located in the bridge, on the other hand, is a humbucker pickup that's perfect for heavier styles like metal and hard rock. Its ceramic magnet and dual-blade construction provide plenty of output and sustain, while its four-conductor wiring allows for a variety of switching options.
Additionally, the SM01 includes a three-way pickup selector switch, which allows you to choose between the bridge, neck, and both pickups together. The guitar also features a coil-tapping switch, which lets you switch between humbucking and single-coil tones, adding even more tonal flexibility to your sound.
