Full Description

Solid torrefied spruce top

The Taylor 214ce Electro Acoustic features a solid torrefied spruce top, delivering a tone that’s both warm and clear. Thanks to the roasting process used for the torrefied spruce, you get the warmth of a well-played-in guitar from day one. This top ensures a crisp, articulate sound with a touch of vintage character, making it a fantastic choice for players seeking a rich, dynamic tone that only improves with age.

Grand Auditorium body shape

The Grand Auditorium body shape on the 214ce strikes the perfect balance between comfort and sound. Offering a full, resonant voice, it adapts well to any playing style, from strumming to fingerpicking. The body’s versatility makes it an ideal option for musicians who need a guitar that can cover a wide range of genres and techniques with ease, whether you’re on stage or in the studio.

Expression System® 2 electronics

The built-in Expression System® 2 electronics take your sound to the next level, faithfully capturing your guitar’s natural dynamics. This breakthrough design features three pickup sensors that pick up the nuances of your playing style and transfer them to your amplified sound. Whether you’re plugged into an amp, PA system, or recording software, the ES2 ensures your tone remains clear, dynamic, and true to the acoustic essence of your 214ce.

Comfortable neck and satin finish

Playability is a top priority with the Taylor 214ce, and its smooth, satin-finished neck ensures a relaxed fretting experience. The neo-tropical mahogany neck offers both strength and comfort, while the satin finish provides a slick, fast feel under your fingers. Combined with the 1-11/16" nut width, the neck allows for effortless chord transitions and quick leads, making it a great choice for players of all skill levels.
