Stereo mixing and saturation

What sets the Bestie apart from conventional desktop mixers is the integrated feedback channel which is capable of generating saturation and stereo distortion. With 20dB of boost available, you can push your signals/sounds to the extreme, which results in your various routed signals trying to fight for dominance in the overall mix. This can be a highly useful tool for sound design, allowing you to create aggressive and distorted sounds with the turn of a few knobs. When boosted above 0dB, the feedback channel will start to self-oscillate, generating deeper tones, the more the channel is amplified. When pushed to the mix, the Bestie will produce a unique tremolo-style effect.

Dedicated headphone output

Monitor your sound as you mix, using the dedicated 3.5mm headphone output you can listen as you make changes to your mix. The low-noise preamps deliver crystal-clear sound quality that can be heard and monitored through your headphones, complete with a 'loudness control' for toggling the volume settings of your headphones. You can also make informed changes to your mix using the 'Pre/Post' mute option, offering a smooth mixdown overdrive character for classic analog grit.

Robust, battery-powered (or USB-C) design

Compact and robust, the Bastl Bestie is perfect for any musician with a 3.44 jack output and 3.5mm input stereo jacks for use with a wide range of audio gear. From instruments to microphones and everything in between, the Bestie makes routing and processing your various signals an absolute breeze. The streamlined controls make it easy to achieve the sound you want, with rotary knobs for controlling each channel's levels. The unit can be powered by 4 x AA batteries (not included) as well as USB-C connectivity for maximum portability.
