The SE2000 MKII is ideal for vocal and acoustic instrument recording in the home and project studio environments. The sE2000 is a cardioid pattern capacitor mic with a centre-terminated gold-sputtered (mylar diaphragm) capsule, low noise Class A FET circuitry and a transformer balanced output stage. A wide frequency response and subtle presence lift make it ideal for recording studio vocals and acoustic instruments. All sE mics are closely matched meaning they are ideal for stereo applications. It is worth noting that the sE2000 requires 48v Phantom Power which almost all audio interfaces with XLR inputs can provide.

At the heart of the SE2000 MKII Condenser Microphone is a gold-sputtered capsule, built by hand by skilled engineers in sE Electronics and thoroughly tested after every process. The mylar diaphragm is fitted and tightened by hand, with gold sputtering added to improve electrical performance. The careful capsule creation doesn't stop there, as each is tuned by hand to meet sE Electronics' high standards of quality.
