Building on the foundation of vintage hardware EQs, the Fat Alpine EQ takes inspiration from '60s-style three-band EQs. Blending seamlessly with the original sound, the Fat Alpine EQ Plug-in is ideal for carving your audio track to create space within your mix. Each band features a wide frequency range, allowing you to hone in on specific problem frequencies or musical content to boost or cut as needed to fit within your mix. Ranging from 50Hz to 15kHz, the Fat Alpine EQ Plug-in ensures you can carve virtually any instrument within your mix with stunning accuracy, whether that's low-end heavy bass drums and bass guitar to articulate and detailed viola or lead vocals. With +/-12dB of gain per band, you are provided with plenty of scope to shape your sound musically, without ever needing more gain per channel to boost or attenuate. To ensure that your sound remains controlled, the Fat Alpine EQ Plug-in includes both a dedicated low-pass and high-pass filter, each of which can be engaged independently.

Use it live, use it in the studio

Compatible with both your DAW host and the PreSonus StudioLive Series III mixers, the Fat Alpine EQ Plug-in enables you to mix using high-quality plug-ins on stage, no matter what other equipment is available to you. Alternatively, recording studios using StudioLive Series III mixers can lighten the CPU usage from their computers by processing directly onto your digital mixer.
