The Theo Wanne Ambika 3 Clarinet Mouthpiece gives you a breath-takingly rich and clean tone. This excellent new design from Theo Wanne combines the benefits of vintage design with modern knowledge and manufacturing techniques. Using design elements from some of the finest vintage clarinet mouthpieces he could find, Theo has developed a revolutionary clarinet mouthpiece, which offers a beautifully clean sound whilst retaining an incredibly rich, full quality. This vintage tone is perfect for jazz and classical clarinettists.
The Gaia 4 features a shallow roll-over baffle, which gives the mouthpiece a vintage sound. A unique chamber design based on classic models contributes to the richness of tone, whilst the premium vintage-style rubber construction of the mouthpiece gives it its classical, dark sound. This mouthpiece has a medium tip opening (0.050"), balancing evenness of intonation with expressive capabilities. The Gaia 4 comes included with a Theo Wanne ligature, mouthpiece cap, and leatherette case.

They use the most advanced manufacturing methods, CAD designs, and five-axis machining in the production process. Every Ambika 3 mouthpiece is made from a solid bar of the highest quality vintage-style hard rubber, giving them an authentic, rich sound. From start to finish, Theo Wanne mouthpieces are built in the Theo Wanne factory in Bellingham, USA.
About Theo Wanne
Theo Wanne is a modern expert on new and vintage woodwind mouthpiece design. Theo worked as a saxophone repair technician under the direction of master refacer Bob Carpenter - a pioneer of mouthpiece refacing and repairs. Theo soon gained a reputation within the saxophone world, and in 1998 opened Saxophone Mouthpiece Heaven - his own online music store and knowledge database.
In 2007, Theo started to design and manufacture his own line of mouthpieces en masse, working with famous musicians such as Joshua Redman, Chris Potter, and Eric Alexander. Theo is constantly studying and innovating his designs, ensuring his mouthpieces allow musicians to create their best tone - as easily as possible. Theo Wanne now has a reputation for crafting some of the best saxophone and clarinet mouthpieces, using the world's most advanced manufacturing techniques.
