Key Features
A unique looking ride cymbal capable of much more freedom for your drum kit. The Sabian HH 20’’ Duo Ride Cymbal is half lathed and half raw. The outer edge provides a sound with more sustain, better wash, and clear stick definition which is ideal for slower tempos. The un-laid surface keeps articulation and is ideal for playing at faster tempos. The two layers on the Sabian HH 20’’ Duo Ride Cymbal deliver a choice of hot, wet or dry responses, adding much more variety to your drum sound. The Sabian HH 20’’ Duo Ride Cymbal can provide a crash sound by striking different areas for a punchy accent and has a quick decay for a 20’’ cymbal, maintaining a clean sound. The Sabian HH 20’’ Duo Ride Cymbal features a small bell that projects a loud and clear bell sound with short sustain that mixes well with the normal ride sound. The Sabian HH Duo Ride is hand-hammered which provides a vintage look and a dark sound. Each cymbal is individually crafted for a unique character and ensuring that none of the cymbals are identical.

When Sabian was first launched in 1982, Hand Hammered (HH) cymbals were the first products they manufactured - and these were the cymbals that made drummers all over the world fall in love with Sabian. Now, Sabian have remastered these original cymbals to produce models with added complexity and tone, delivering unmatched sonic texture across the entire line. Depending on the size and model, each remastered HH cymbal is hand hammered up to 3,000 times - in some cases more.
With the Vintage Dark tone of the HH a popular choice for Jazz, Rock, the Blues and beyond, the most popular models are those that offer the most versatility. HH is a traditional concept, so tradition, not innovation is what makes this such a popular choice. These models highlight the sounds that drummers around the world have made their favourite.
''Traditional Turkish hand hammering is more than just our history,'' explained Sabian Master Sound Specialist Mark Love, ''It's our DNA. We've been using traditional hand hammering techniques since day one.
